KoSIT

The body that maintains XRechnung - and the reference validator for authorities.

KoSIT (Coordination Office for IT Standards) publishes the XRechnung specification and the associated Schematron rules.

The KoSIT validator is the reference tool that public bodies use. It is considered the benchmark for checking German e-invoices.

If a document deviates from this, there is a high probability that an authority will also reject it.
