Factur-X

The French name for the hybrid format PDF/A-3 with CII-XML.

Factur-X is the French name for the ZUGFeRD format and was developed jointly by German and French associations.

The XML invoice is included as an attachment in a PDF/A-3 file. Only the appendix is ​​relevant for validation.

A validator that only checks the visible PDF page will not see the invoice - only the embedded XML counts.
